I've created a new blog, an English blog!
Recently, I have been studying English with a variety of methods including Anki, ePop, Ted-Ed, a grammar book, and so on. I decided to create a blog to organize my progress.
Initially, I looked for the most suitable blogging platform for my needs. There are tons of frameworks to create blog readily, But the more I find options, the less I can choose.
These were expectation that the blogging platform must provide.
- I can write/edit posts with markdown.
- I can create posts in iPad too
- Smooth shared files between multiple devices.
In light of these needs, it came down to building blog myself. I built this blog with various building blocks including Fumadocs and extras. The second and third needs are not the responsibility of Fumadocs. I used Obsidian iCloud sync and Github and rsync command for that.
My English writing skills aren't so strong. It get me to take a lot of times to explain how I did these technically. (I must skip this section.)
By the way, I'll start to fill this blog with basic grammar postings.
