This is my first blog post in April. And in this post, I'll explain my progress in studying English in March.
March? Not much for new things. I just kept up my English routine day after day. On top of that, I finished binge-listening to English podcasts.
Moreover, I started some reading practice. I've been reading some articles which explain what AI agent harness are and how I can utilise them much better. It's a kind of interesting topic that I'm required to learn.
So, I've been benefiting not only from reading in English but also from learning some useful knowledge. There's a catch.
Reading articles in English is harder than reading them in my native language, and I need to go through some misunderstanding. But it doesn't mean that I need to read them in my native language. I believe that I'll be able to become someone who can understand the topic sentences in articles with just a quick glance.
Speaking of AI, it's time to turn around my mindset about learning. As I was reading some articles, it got me thinking that I should start being more intentional about the feedforward and feedback loops of my projects.
Anyway, just like that, my reading practice was set in motion.
I reduced the daily review count for English sentence deck in Anki. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all to complete the daily review. Now, the review time is affordable. It's about 30 to 40 minutes a day. I'd better review on a daily basis. Otherwise, I'll have 300 cards to review tomorrow :)
In light of this accomplishment, I'm proud of myself. I have never measured my English skills at all, but it's not like I got stagnation. I'm pushing through and sticking to my priceless routine.
