It seems like most of my recent English posts begin with "long time no post," right?

I've really been in the mood to practice my English writing skills, but I haven't been able to find the time for it lately.

I know it's an excuse. But it was only natural for me to make excuses because I've had a lot on my plate lately.

New House

I'm really grateful that I got the new place I desperately wanted.

It was pretty hard for me to adapt to life in a military camp. I don't need to deal with all the things that waste my time in the military.

I feel like I wanna shout out loud about how happy this place makes me. Thankfully, it takes me only about 15 minutes to get from here to my new office.

I decided to join Toss (Viva Republica) as a frontend platform engineer. Toss has a new office building right next to one of the exits at Sinnonhyeon Station.

They also bought the right to add their company name to the station name for three years. So it'll be called Sinnonhyeon (Toss) starting this September.

What are the chances that they'd add Toss to the station name right before I join? Great.

In my new place, there is a separate room, and I turned it into my living room. Even though I don't have much furniture yet, I don't feel like filling my space with a lot of stuff I might not need, right?

It's easy for a place to get cluttered.

But I Have to Return to the Military for Now

So, well, the day after tomorrow, I have to return to camp.

There are about eight days left before I'm discharged. I still need to wrap up my military service.

I've been through a lot, and it's about time I got out of the Korean Navy.

I don't wanna go back to camp, but at least this'll be the last time I have to return.

I think it might be harder to readjust to camp because I've already experienced how nice it is to live in my new place.
