Recently, I heard Hollow Knight is not a game but a genre in itself. Before I played it, I didn't know what that mean. After I beat it an hour ago, I found out why.
During the game, I was supposed to explore a bunch of distinctive fields on the map and had to travel back and forth between them. Because some areas required special capabilities to enter, which I could get in other areas, it was imperative that I moved like that.
You'll never guess how satisfied I felt as I got capabilities which made things easier. There's something special about Hollow Knight. I wasn't thinking of buying Hollow Knight sequel called Silk Song in the beginning. It was on sale and I decided to buy it together. I'd like to give myself some credit. You know, I'm looking forward to day when I start playing Silk Song.
I won't play it for now. I need to get some rest out of tired.
I haven't seen the story review of Hollow Knight on YouTube yet. Looks like I didn't catch the whole background of the game yet. It would be great if I could grasp the whole story because I came across a few things I was curious about during the game.
Before that, I need to reach the true ending. Apparently, I haven't gathered all the clues to reach it. Well, you might want to say I didn't beat the game completely; however everyone has different criteria for what counts as an ending. Isn't it?
Completion progress 100% isn't for me. In spite of the fact that I gained main skills and capabilities, I can't think I'll be able to accomplish 100%. Furthermore, as far as I know, reaching 100% requires a second playthrough all over again. That's not my style.
By the way, Hollow Knight has been a kind of shock for me. You can't go wrong with it. If you haven't played it yet, why don't you just try it? It took about 60 hours for me to clear. It's a result of my trait that I don't want to be spoiled by the guides. As I played Hollow Knight, I found out that I prefer to explore deep dark fields myself.
As you know, once you buy a game, how you play it is in your hands. It won't take as long for you as it did for me.
