About 10 days ago, I started creating a product for a development hackathon. As today is an era of AI agents across several fields, the topic of the hackathon was planning and developing AI-related product and one of the partners of the contest was OpenAI.
I came up with a product called MuseNote which helps Korean English learners improve their listening skills. When learners are watching English video on YouTube, they are likely to repeat the same video all over again after getting an opportunity for growth from a teacher or AI.
MuseNote simplifies these procedures. It lets you tap the keyboard shortcuts during listening, records which sentences you couldn't understand and finally analyzes those clues and creates an AI-generated report as a result of your listening.
We then might want to get feedback from the report and repeat the above steps until we conquer the video.
It took about 10 days for me to complete the development. I've used AI agents extensively. Even though I spent a lot of tokens, the reason why I spent 10 days was that it's imperative that it was imperative to create three systems such as a Supabase backend, a Next.js Web and a Google Chrome Extension App.
Each system plays a crucial part in my overview. Thankfully, I managed to submit my results to the hackathon, and I was satisfied with that.
I'm not entirely sure if I'll pass the first round, but I'm already proud of those works. I've learned not only how to exploit AI agents more strongly, but also how to develop Chrome Extension in general.
