Intro

It's a bit late to write a February review. I was going to write it as soon as possible, but I got busy.

It's March which, means the soldiers in the army like me are subject to prepare for FS training. FS training is a kind of training period of the army which takes place annually. There are two big training sessions, FS in March and UFS in August. Turns out, I've had a lot on my plate lately. There isn't anything special for me during this period, but I have to work overtime day after day.

Oh well, so then, what have I done in February? I can't afford to remember everything because it's been a few days, but I'm going to jot down something I can remember.

Another Game

First of all, I started playing Sephiria. It's kind of a game made with awesome 2d pixel art and roguelike playthrough style. Why am I talking about a game instead of English study? Well, I've had a thing for that game recently. It's only natural for me to bring up this kind of topic.

Reviewing...

And others? As always, I can't get enough of maintaining my streak on the 말해보카 app and reviewing my daily Anki cards. I've been reviewing about 200 Anki cards, and I've started to feel a bit overwhelmed by it all. However, I've managed to maintain my routine. Let me share some statistical charts from Anki.

Listening

Like the previous month, I've been listening to the Easy English Podcast. On the bright side, I almost reached the latest episode of that podcast. This calls for a celebration. I already completed the episode that was the latest episode when I started listening to this.

Now that I've gotten these results, I have started to become interested in listening to English content that wasn't made for English learners, the real native speakers' content such as TED Talks and commencement speech of Taylor Swift.

Frankly, I've always wanted to understand native speakers' natural speech easily, but I got a kind of stagnation in it. It's not like I don't like listening, but I feel like I have to allocate more time than I have recently.

Writing

As you can see, I was also lazy about writing. I learned a lot from writing, though. Past a certain point, it's hard to trust ChatGPT's English sentence corrections. It suggests some unreliable grammatical errors like I should prepend a subject to the beginning of "Turns out". What made it become such a fool? I'm clueless!

Outro

There is a high chance that I can improve my English if I stick it out for a very long time. It's already a foregone conclusion. I'd like to give myself some credit :)
